Qualification Criteria of Air Force AFCAT-01/2023 Online form

Flying Branch

Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level examination AND (a) Graduation with minimum 3(Three) years degree course in any discipline University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent OR (b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent Aeronautical Engineering Electronics: 10+2 Intermediate Minimum 50% Marks in Physics and Math and Minimum 4 Year Graduation / Integrated PG Degree in Engineering / Technology.

Aeronautical Engineer Electronics

Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level examination and a minimum of 4 years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology from recognized University OR cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the following sections:-

Physical Training/Fitness Details of Air Force AFCAT-01/2023 Online form

Training is scheduled to commence in the first week of Jan 2024.

The completely duration of training for Flying and Ground Duty (Technical) Branches is 74 weeks and that of Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches is 52 weeks at Air Force Training Establishments.

1. Go to the official website and click on ‘CANDIDATE LOGIN – Register’.

2. Then fill your name, email id, mobile number and other details.

3. Then generate OTP, after verify OPT, click on sign up.

4. Then sign up with email id and password.

5. Then click on AFCAT.

6. Then read the instructions and fill up Personal details, Qualification details, Course preferences and Address details.

7. Upload your photo, signature, and thumb in proper format.

8. Select state and corresponding exam city.

9. Pay application fee in online format.

10. Finally submit the application form and keep the printout of the application form for future use. And do not send the hard copy of the application form & other documents to the IAF office.
