Tier-I : Computer Based Online Examination
Paper Pattern : Objective Multiple Choice Type Questions(MCQ) in English & Hindi language.
Negative Marking : 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer

Tier-II : Computer Based Online Examination
Paper Pattern : Objective Multiple Choice Type Questions(MCQ) in English & Hindi language.
Negative Marking : 1 (One) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III.
Tier-II will be conducted in two sessions i.e., Session –I & Session-II, on same day. Session-I will include conducting of Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III. Session-II will include conducting of Module-II of Section-III.
It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify all the sections of Tier-II Test.
Module-I of Section-III i.e. Computer Knowledge Test is also mandatory but qualifying in nature.

Skill Test for Data Entry Operator/DEO Grade ‘A’
‘Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (Eight Thousand) KDPH on Computer’ will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words/ key depressions as per the given passage.
The duration of the Test will be 15 (Fifteen) minutes only.
Printed matter in English containing about 2000-2200 key-depressions will be given for entering in the Computer.
Typing Test for other posts i.e. LDC/ JSA
The medium of Typing Test will be in Hindi or English.
The candidates will have to select the medium of Typing Test (i.e. either Hindi/English) in the online Application Form.
Candidates selecting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute(WPM) and those selecting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute(WPM).
35 words per minute(WPM) and 30 words per minute(WPM) correspond to about 10500 KDPH and about 9000 KDPH respectively.
Pay Scale for SSC CHSL Clerk Recruitment 2022
Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) : Pay Level−2 (Rs.19900−63200).
Data Entry Operator (DEO) : Pay Level−4(Rs.25500−81100) and Level−5(Rs.29200−92300).
Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’ : Pay Level−4(Rs.25500−81100).
How to Apply SSC CHSL Clerk Recruitment 2022
1. Go to ssc.nic.in, if you are not completed the registration process, then click on ‘New User ? Register Now’.
2. Fill Aadhaar number, ID proof, Name, Date of Birth, SSC Examination Details, Mobile Number, Email Id and then create your registration Id and Password.
3. Change old password with new password.
4. Then Login with your Registration Number and Password.
5. Fill up your additional details and contact details & then submit.
6. Then for application, click on “Latest Notification”.
7. Then click on the “Apply” (Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2022) & select Examination Centres, fill up educational qualification & other details.
8. Upload photo and signature in proper format.
9. Pay Examination Fee in online or offline format.
10. Finally submit the application form and keep the printout of the application form for future use. And do not send the hard copy of the application form & other documents to the SSC office.
