Celine Dion has decided to stop all performing after being diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder.

In an emotional video message posted Thursday on Instagram, Dion said stiff person syndrome was affecting her walk and singing.

She said that "unfortunately, the spasms are affecting everything in my daily life, sometimes making it difficult

for me to walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing like I used to."

Dion's shows, which will begin in February 2023, have been moved to 2024.
