Star actress Michelle Pfeiffer and rappers Snoop Dogg, MC Hammer and LL Cool J have led tributes to Coolio following his death at the age of 59.

Pfeiffer shared a clip of the music video on Instagram and said she was "heartbroken" over a "life cut entirely too short".


Snoop Dogg has shared a photo on Instagram as they pose on the stage in the video their track from 2006 Gangsta and wrote: "Gangstas paradise. R I P."


MC Hammer has shared a photo on Twitter and described Coolio as "one of the nicest dudes I've known".
