No. 7 USC football defeated No. 16 UCLA 48-45

No. 7 USC kept its College Football Playoff aspirations alive with a win over No. 16 UCLA.

USC quarterback Caleb Williams threw for 470 yards through the air and on the ground and scored two.

The Trojans scored on eight of their nine drives after USC trailed 14-0 before rallying.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson was responsible for all six UCLA touchdowns, but also had three interceptions and a fumble.

UCLA gets the ball with 2:21 left. That's when the Bruins (8-3, 5-3) reach midfield.

Thompson-Robinson was unable to mount a comeback as Corey Foreman sacked him at midfield with 1:26 left.

After this win, the Bruins hope to stay in the standings while the Trojans can try for the top five.
