Senator Bernie Sanders criticized the massive climate and health care bills created by Democrats.
Bernie Sanders said according to organizations that have studied the bill, it would have a modest impact on inflation.
Sanders has ripped apart a $740 billion proposal brokered which will invest millions in green energy, lower the cost of prescription drugs.
And a tax of at least 15% on corporations will be imposed on schools. NPR reported that Sanders cited the CBO as acknowledging
that the proposal is insignificant at this point. The Vermont Independent plans to amend the bill to allow Medicare to pay
the same amount to the Department of Veterans Affairs for prescription drug costs.
Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock joined Sanders to create an amendment that would have expanded Medicare coverage for hearing, vision, and dental benefits.
A Vermont senator's attempt to repeal the law was defeated by a narrow vote of 3 to 97.
