Shooting at LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs kills 5, injures 18

The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) will hold a press conference at 8 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, following an overnight shooting at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs.

Many injured people have been admitted to hospital.

CSPD has located a person who knows the suspect, who is currently being treated at the hospital.

The FBI is also working at the scene along with the police.

A CSFD spokesman said 34 firefighters and 11 ambulances were called and the situation was under control.

Victims and injured people were transported to the hospital with the help of AMR and multiple county agencies.
