South Carolina beat No. 5 Tennessee 63-38

Spencer Rattler threw for a career-best 438 yards and six touchdowns.

Tennessee (9-2, 6-2 Southeastern, No. 5 CFP) is likely to lose Heisman Trophy candidate Hendon Hooker to a foot injury.

Rattler threw eight touchdowns and nine interceptions and flashed arm talent that made him one of the top-rated quarterback recruits of the past five years.

The Oklahoma transfer threw for 438 yards and a program record six touchdowns to destroy the Vols defense.

Wide receiver Antwain Wells Jr. had 11 catches for 177 yards.

Jaheem Bell and Josh Vann also scored two touchdowns.

Tennessee QB Hendon Hooker performed well, but the Vols struggled to break even with the Gamecocks' scoring barrage.
